|SetBuilder is an add-in feature to NetDocuments that streamlines the process of gathering and organizing a set of documents (a Set). After creating a Set, it is possible to combine all the documents in the Set into a single, hyperlinked PDF file, ready for digital distribution. A Set can be created from scratch or cloned from a previously created Set. SetBuilder also tracks the status of every Set and provides quick access to a library of previously finalized Sets.|

SetBuilder is activated at the workspace level. To turn on SetBuilder for a workspace, you must have at least VES rights to that workspace:
- In the Workspace Options drop-down menu, select Customize workspace.
- In the Customize Workspace dialog box that appears, select the Display value for the Sets Tab setting.
- Select Save Changes:
Note: SetBuilder must be enabled in a repository by the NetDocuments Support team. If you do not see the Sets tab, contact your administrator.
Displaying the Sets tab will:
- Add a new Sets tab to the workspace:
- Create a top-level Sets folder in the workspace (if no such folder already exists):
The documents and binders associated with every Set in a workspace will be stored in a subfolder in the workspace’s Sets folder. Every internal user or group with access to the workspace will be given at least VES rights to the new Sets folder after it is created, and any of those users can create a new Set in that workspace.
Support for Internet Explorer
SetBuilder is not officially supported in Internet Explorer. Although many of the SetBuilder features may work in Internet Explorer, no guarantee is provided that every available action can be performed successfully. In addition, Internet Explorer cannot be used to drag folders into a Set. Only documents can be dragged into a Set using Internet Explorer. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that Internet Explorer not be used to view or edit an existing Set or to create new Sets. Internet Explorer can be used to view a Set, however.
