By default, folders will sort their contents by Name, in alphabetical order. However, a Cabinet Administrator may change the default sort order for new folders created in the cabinet.
This is done under the Foldering section on the Cabinet Administration page:
An individual folder may also have its default sort order changed. Users will need A (Administer) rights to change the default sort order.
To do this, open the folder. Go to Folder Options > Default Sort Order. This will override the cabinet setting.
The following sort orders will be available:
- Last Modified date
- Modified By
- Created Date
- Created By
- Any custom profile attribute
