Desktop Scanner Connector

NetDocuments offers a scanner connector to facilitate scanning items directly into NetDocuments. This program connects to any TWAIN scanner.

To download and install the scanner connector:

1. Go to Add > Scanned image.

2. If the connector is not installed yet, this will download it and prompt you to install:


Note: The Desktop Scanner Connector requires .NET 4.5 to be installed on the PC.

The scanner connector will use a ClickOnce installer, which will look similar to this:


When installed, the application will be added to the Start Menu. The application updates automatically download whenever you run the app.

To launch the Scanner Connector, go to your Start Menu and select Desktop Scanner Connector OR go to Add Scanned Image:


The Connector will search for any TWAIN scanners that are connected directly to the PC.

If there is only one TWAIN scanner configured and connected to the PC, the scanner connector will display the scanning dialog for the scanner after selecting Scan Now… .


Use your scanner's dialog to configure the settings for the scanner and to initiate the scan.
