Enabling NetDocuments Add-ins in Office

If you have installed any of our add-ins for MS Office applications and they are no longer working, they may be "Disabled" or "Inactive" in your Office application. The instructions below will show you how to enable the add-ins. 

The steps are the same for any NetDocuments add-in.

Enabling Add-ins in MS Office

  1. Go to File > Options > Add-ins.
  2. Under Manage, select Disabled Add-ins.
  3. Highlight the add-in, then click Enable. If the add-in is not listed there, then just click close.
  4. Go back to the Add-ins menu. Again, under Manage, select COM Add-ins. Here you can activate the add-in by checking the box.
  5. Click OK.

This add-in will appear as “NetDocuments Outlook AddIn” in Outlook or “NetDocuments Word AddIn” in Word.

This add-in will appear as “NetDocuments ndMail Outlook Add-in”

Formerly known as Decisiv, this add-in will appear as “ExplorerDesktopAddin”
