Each cabinet in NetDocuments has a pre-defined system-generated folder called the Cabinet Inbox.
By default, all Internal Users will have at least VES access to this folder, in addition to the cabinet default access. This means that the Cabinet Inbox is a public folder. It cannot be deleted, renamed, moved, or have its access modified.
The Cabinet Inbox folder access cannot be modified and should generally not be used when adding new documents. The Cabinet Inbox can be used as a scan inbox or email inbox for temporary storing of documents until they can be filed elsewhere.
If you are using a cabinet as an extranet, we would recommend NOT using the Cabinet Inbox to store items.
