If you receive a secure document link in an email, it will look something like this:
Click "View" to view your document. The document will open for viewing in your default web browser.
"I am being asked for a password, but I don't have one. Where do I find it?"
If you have received a document link in an email, you may be prompted to enter a password after clicking the link. The sender of the email should have provided you with the password; otherwise, you will need to contact them in order to obtain the password. NetDocuments Support will be unable to assist you with recovering the password to a secure document. If the password is lost, forgotten, or unrecoverable, then the sender will need to send a new link.
Once you click View (or after you enter a password if required) a browser window will open that displays your document, as shown:
