ndThread Activity Feed - pull all new communications together into 1 list

This is coming as a direct request from a client: 

In using Microsoft Teams, there is an Activity Thread that pulls all my new incoming communications together into 1 easy to review feed.  this allows me to prioritize where I need to concentrate, where I need to go in Teams.   

We need the same feature in Thread.  currently I have to check Direct Messages, then click through multiple different matter workspaces form a fairly long list to "find" what's new.  An all in one feed would same enormous amount of time.
