Tasks - See all tasks across all workspaces

It seems the only ability to view all the tasks is to view them per workspace. We need to be able to view all the tasks assigned, regardless of workspace.

  • Absolutely.  I thought this was available.  I just started playing with it.  We can't get one list for all tasks per user?

  • Absolutely agreed! It's pretty useless to have tasks viewable only on a workspace--for our firm, the whole point is to see WHAT tasks need to be done--without having to figure out what clients (workspaces) were involved. Is there a way to sort the tasks by (a) the person assigning them or (b) the person to whom they are assigned and NOT by workspace (client)? That was what we needed out of this software!

  • Hi all,

The "My Tasks" feature allows users to see Tasks across workspaces and across projects from one list. Here is the documentation: https://support.netdocuments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052710871

    Thank you,

    Fred

  • Another "absolutely agree"... Tasks is of no use w/o this ability.

The help article (which I read before coming here) suggests we can look at all tasks (across workspaces) at user level, but the only tasks I see when I click My Tasks are the tasks in that workspace (assigned to me). And I don't see "My Tasks" when I click Switch to Another Task Board (I have not tried to create another task board because I already created a Task Board in one workspace assuming that the new Task Board would be available across the entire Cabinet but it wasn't).

  • Hi all,

You can always access "My Tasks" from any workspace by going to Switch to another Task board and then "My Tasks".  There you will see all Tasks assigned to you and created by you.  We're working on adding better visualization of workspaces now but users can see Tasks across workspaces.
