Relevancy ranking of search results

Hi,

When a user conducts a search that includes a full-text search, NetDocuments does not present any options for ranking results according to the relevancy of those results:-

1) to present them in the most often accessed order, or

2) to present them with the most number of occurrences of the search term in the search results at the top.

If you agree this is a desirable feature, please vote for this.

Kind regards,
Tony

Totally agree with that.

When your search shows hundreds of documents and of course you can drill-down and narrow by the filters on your left navigation, but you should have some sort of relevancy / rank of what are the top documents shown .. not filtered by date or whatever you choose from the search tabs...

This can actually be done, using the "Relevancy Ranking" option in the Search Options.  However, it would be better and more useful if there was an option to use the relevancy option was used for full-text (i.e. "Everthing") search and other options were used for metadata searches.

This is an essential feature. Users are used to very powerful search engines, they expect that sort of relevancy.

I've searched for Relevance and also for Modified / Sent date and the results are the same that is, the sort order is the same for both.

Also we don't see any indication of that sort when displaying the results or any rank...
