Agreed. If the user needs to compare version 2 to version 9 then it makes sense you’d have to open the list of versions and select those two specifically, but if the user only selects a single document then it would be reasonable for the interface to pass the two most-recent versions to Workshare rather than requiring the user to go back and pick two versions manually.
Workshare Compare from Word with NetDocs - want previous version auto populated in Original Document
In iManage, when you select Workshare from an open file, the current version and previous version automatically populate in the Modified and Original fields. Users with NetDocs files must find and select the Original document which requires several clicks. Would like to see the integration automatically populate the previous version, since that's what is most often compared.
