Bram,

The notify me feature that was added to Secured Links in 17.1 works for all types of secured links, whether sent through Outlook, by NetDocuments or if the link is copied.

Please let me know if this feature is not working when you send a secured link via Outlook.

Hi Mark,

It works now, but when we click on Send link through email I get a the following warning from ND:

Second: I does not show the e-mail adress off the recipient

Third: it does not show in the history of the document that I send a Secure Link.

Bram,

Thanks for pointing that out.  We are able to track when the document is accessed. I will have the language of that message changed to make it clearer.

It does not show the email address of the recipient because when you send the link via Outlook, NetDocuments does not know who the recipient is.  There is nothing we can do about that.  That's what the warning you receive is stating.

As for your third point, thanks for raising that issue.  We will make sure that gets added to the history table in the future.

Bram,

The third issue you noted has been resolved.  This is now captured in the document history table.

Same here. We end up having to recreate the list of potential recipients by reentering them every time. The recipient ends up with an email. Why can we not see it before it goes out and select the recipient at that time, like the internal link option? Or, otherwise, tap the Outlook email source. I've read the other comments. I still get a customized dialogue and it does not access my Outlook address information in the same way Outlook does.
