While using the Netdocuments integrations with adobe reader, we have seen reports of the following error when attempting to save a pdf:
This error typically happens when you're specifically using the 'Save as a new version" option.
In the instances where this has happened, the 'Open' function worked correctly and the 'Save as a new document' did nothing at all.
Open Adobe Reader. Go to edit and preferences:
Then go to Security (Enhanced) on the window that pops up. Note the condition of the checkbox next to Enable Protected Mode at Startup, if there is a check there, UNCHECK THAT BOX:
