On October 16, 2015, ndOffice version 1.7 will be released. Go to ndOffice to download the latest version and find more information such as system requirements.
Please note below the reference to a beta release supporting Office 2016. Our intention is to investigate and test Office 2016 and provide beta support for it with ndOffice 1.7, and then officially support it with 1.8 thus allowing more time for extensive QA.
Planned Subsequent Update
For your planning purposes, the next Update for ndOffice (version 1.8) is planned for March 2016. We will inform you if this plan changes as we get closer to the date. We are providing this information to assist you as much as possible in your planning and administration of the NetDocuments Service for your organization.
While our next update to ndOffice is going to be 1.8, due in early 2016 with lots of enhancements, we are releasing two enhancements in beta as 220.127.116.1105. We will not change the autoupdate for this, rather distribute it to select clients and customers who would like to test and use it.
Below are the changes included in version 1.7:
Users can select multiple documents to attach to an Outlook message, and be able to choose individual versions or compared attachments for those documents.
Users now have an option to select a cabinet in the navigation settings. When the dialog opens in these cases, the navigation pane will be pre-selected to the designated cabinet, and the user can simply complete the document profile, rather than choose a location and have the profile values be inherited.
