NetDocuments Service Accounts are priced on an annual subscription, based on the number of Service Account Users (SAU’s) your organization purchased to access your NetDocuments repository. The NetDocuments Service account type (described below) your organization purchased determines the additional cost for increasing the internal and external user totals:
Service Account User Types:
These users are members of your firm. They are automatically members of the Internal Users Group. Your firm is billed based on the number of Internal User accounts you purchase. These users are only added by a Repository Administrator.
These are people outside your firm (auditors, outside counsel, etc) to whom you give access to a workspace or a set of folders for an extended period of time. These users cannot be Administrators and generally have a reduced feature set. These users are also added on the Repository level by an Administrator.
ShareSpace Personal Contacts
These are also people outside your firm (such as a client). They are "guests" to your firm, and have access to a handful of documents over a short period of time via a ShareSpace. Each Internal User can create their own list of ShareSpace contacts with whom they share documents with. ShareSpace Contacts are not added to your firm's repository by an Administrator, so they are often referred to as "non-repository users". These ShareSpace users can only have access to ShareSpaces (they cannot access folders or workspaces). However, both Internal and External users may also have access to a ShareSpace.
ShareSpaces are designed for ad hoc and secure document sharing. There are no subscription fees for any ShareSpace guest users who are granted access to a ShareSpace. ShareSpaces can be created, filed in folders within your Cabinet and can be created at anytime by users without requiring administrative help. ShareSpace guest users only see the contents of the ShareSpace to which they have access and do not see your organization's Cabinet structure.
Service Account Types:
NetDocuments Basic Edition:
The only upgrade to this account type is to move to the standard NetDocumets Professional account type and External users are priced the same as Internal users and there is an additional fee for more than one cabinet. Go to our Pricing page to review the current price list. Click contact us to communicate to the NetDocuments Customer Service Team that you wish to upgrade your account to another level.
NetDocuments Professional Edition:
To increase the number of Internal and External Service Account Users, your Administrator simply changes the number of Internal or External Users that is currently listed on the Administration Repository Details page with the increased number requested. You can only upgrade to a higher number at a minimum of 5% of the current number. NetDocuments Accounting Department will receive a notification that your account has been changed and will reflect the change in your billing status whether you are paying via credit card or invoice. A confirmation notice will be emailed to you with any billing changes that may apply.
The pricing per Internal User is based on an incremental fee as per NetDocuments price list located at: Pricing. Please contact us if you need more external user accounts. We will provide you a quote for the amount you require.
NetDocuments Enterprise/Professional+ Edition:

The pricing for Internal and External users is based on an incremental fee as per the NetDocuments Service Agreement your organization agreed to. Please contact your Administrator to verify the additional user fee or contact us to confirm what your rate is.
