On every List View (such as Recent Documents, search results, and folders) users will have the option to display either the Preview pane or the Details pane on the right-hand side:

By double-clicking the dividing line, users can collapse these panes. The panes can be expanded by clicking the tabs on the right:

 collapsed

The panes can also be re-sized or adjusted according to the user's preference. These settings will "stick" as long as the user is logged in. The next time they log in, the panes will be set back to the default position.

Preview Pane

On the Preview pane, users can also open the document in the Viewer in a separate window by clicking the pop-out icon:

 viewer

Details Pane

On the Details pane, users can view the document in the Viewer by clicking View in Browser under More Options:

 viewer2

This will collapse the left-hand navigation pane and users will view the document in the center panel, with Details open on the right:

viewDoc

Users can also open the Viewer in a separate window using the pop-out button:

pop-outViewer

Or, under More Options, users can CTRL+Click on the View in Browser option to open the Viewer in a separate window, allowing all four panes to display together:

Well written and easy to follow.  When I follow the Ctrl-Click | View in Browser a separate window opens instead of the side-by-side display.  Judie M. Guignion
