Manually Re-setting Auto-Login


If you are having an issue with our Automated Login feature, you may need to manually reset it by doing the following steps:

  1. Log out of NetDocuments and close all web browsers.
  2. Navigate to “C:\Users\<USERPROFILE>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\DSS” and delete any folders listed under the "DSS folder (you may need to display hidden files and folders to see this location).
  3. Open the Registry Editor and go to “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NetVoyage\NetDocuments” and delete the “IntegratedLogin” key. Before making any changes to the Registry, it is recommended that you create a backup first. 
  4. Login to NetDocuments and re-enable Auto-Login.

(if the registry key is not found and you are still having issues, try turning the Pop-up blocker and Windows Defender SmartScreen filter off as one of these might be blocking IE from writing to the registry)
