If you are getting an error message in NetDocs that says "Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close" or something similar and it references the newebcl.dll file, you can follow these steps to clear this up:
- Check in all closed documents one at a time, log out of NetDocs and close the web browser.
- Open up the Echo Folder (Start > Programs > NetDocuments Check-In List > View Echo Folder).
- Rename the Echo Folder to something like "NDechoOLD" (You can delete this folder later).
- Open up the Task Manager and end the nenote.exe process.
- Reboot the computer.
